Heimsmeistaramót í Kína hefjast 10.12.2018
Hangzhou, China, holds the 14th World Swimming Championships, which begin on Tuesday, 11.12.2018, with 950 swimmers from 175 countries. 4 Icelandic swimmers will race as well: From Hafnarfjörður Anton Sveinn McKee, Dadó Fenrir Jasminuson and Ingibjörg Kristín Jónsdóttir, and Kristinn Þórarinsson from Reykjavík.

Dadó Fenrir celebrates his first World's appearance. He will compete over 50 and 100m skriðsund.
Ingibjörg Kristín competed already on several World Championships on 50m, and this is her first time in the short pool. She will race over 50m baksund and 50m skriðsund.
Anton Sveinn raced on his first 25m HM in Istanbul, at that time over the long distance freestyle. His major lays now in breaststroke, where he covers all distances from 50, 100 to 200m.
It is Kristinn Þórarinsson's third HM25, and he will race in the 100 and 200m fjór and 50m baksund.

The first day - Tuesday - will begin with Anton Sveinn over 100m bringa and Kristinn over 200m fjór.
