Hrafnhildur Lúthersdóttir for Iceland on European Championships in Swimming in London 15.05.2016
The European Swimming Championships will begin on Monday in London.
Hrafnhildur Lúthersdóttir is part of the 4-swimmer Icelandic team. Her first race (100m bringa) will be on Tuesday morning.
She will cover all breaststroke events, 50, 100 and 200m bringa.
Hrafnhildur has placed several times in semi- and open finals on international championships, being the first Icelandic female swimmer to win an international medal (FINA-worldcup Doha in 50, 100 and 200m bringa).
She improved continuously from her youth, from EMU-final, HM25 semi-final, EM-semi- and open final, then 2015 HM-final. In this Olympic year she fights again for the final races in her events, as a major preparation for her Olympic races in Rio in the summer.
RUV will show the EM swimming finals live from kl. 17.00 every evening, all further details will be published on all media sites of SSÍ.
