Outstanding performance of Hrafnhildur Lúthersdóttir at the Santa Clara Arena-Pro-Series:
With times very close to her recently established new records at the Small Nation Games she raced successfully in the finals of this high level international meeting.
Ingibjörg Kristín Jónsdóttir competed as well in her best seasonal shape, confirmed as well her results of the Small Nation Games.
Hrafnhildur won silver over 200m bringusund in a time of 2.25.61 - just shy of her own record of 2.25.39. She placed 4th in the 100m bringusund in 1.08.40, as well very close to her own record - and this out of regular training and in her preparation for the World Championships in august in Kazan, RUS.
Ingibjörg Kristín was successful with her finals in 50m baksund (29.53) and 50m freestyle (0.26.55), confirming her times from the Small Nation Games. Over 50m baksund she confirmed again the B-qualifying time for the HM in Kazan.
